Better understand, quantify and control the physical behaviors of gels and gelling agents to make product developments, industrial production more reliable and better understand the challenges of Naturalness.

1er October 2024

1 day (7h)

Grenoble

€1 excl. tax/share.

(special rates for Innov’alliance members)

Objectives

  • Better understand the variety of gelling agents and gel structure, the main mechanisms and phenomena associated with gelation and their variability factors
  • Discover or deepen your knowledge of instrumental techniques for gels, their operating principles, their respective contributions and limitations, the quantities measured and their link with concrete phenomena
  • Learn about scientific approaches adapted for industry
  • Discover in practice the physical behavioral techniques for gels in rheometry

Initiation

  • Technical personnel and industrial management in sectors having to use, implement, formulate gelling agents or gelled products
  • Prerequisites: Scientific and technical curriculum

9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 13 p.m. to 17 p.m.

  • Introduction to industrial issues related to the manufacture, texture and use of gels
  • Scientific notions of physico-chemistry, physics and rheology of gels
  • Common instrumental techniques, strengths and limitations
  • Methodological issues in industrial R&D (formulation, problem solving, sizing, etc.)
  • Instrumental and experimental initiation on a rheometer and associated modules (according to participant needs)
