Session 2: Concepts of rheology and physics for paints and resins
Discover or deepen your understanding of the scientific concepts associated with the dynamic behavior of paints and resins
Thursday, November 7th
2h
Distance
€200 excl. tax/part.
OBJECTIFS
- Discover the scientific notions of rheology and physics useful for understanding the dynamic behavior of paints and resins
- Understand their implications in various characteristic phenomena and their limits
PROGRAM
- Concepts of polymer physics
- Main notions of rheology (viscosity, non-Newtonian fluid, thixotropy) and links with polymer physics
- Physical concepts (surface tension, wetting, adhesion, etc.) and semi-empirical concepts (stringy, sticky, etc.)
